If I hire Sound Sensation, who will be my DJ?
Donny, the owner of the company, will be your DJ. I never hire or subcontract other DJs.
Can I meet with the DJ?
I recommend an initial meeting prior to booking and an additional meeting one month before the event, but contact by phone, fax, mail, or email is also possible.
What area do you serve?
My Area of Service is the New York City regional area, or more specifically, up to 35 miles from my Staten Island location.
Are there any venues that you don't play?
Yes. I don't play on yachts, at house parties, or at outdoor events.
How much does the average DJ cost?
According to the ADJA, the national average rate for a DJ is $1,200.
How many hours are covered?
My package prices include up to 6 hours of service.
Can you accommodate the style I want?
I can customize the style of your event, ranging from an elegant wedding to a high-energy dance party.
Do I need a separate Master of Ceremonies?
I perform as both your DJ and MC, but a separate MC is available by request. For more interaction, I can also provide a Party Host.
What kind of music do you play?
Whatever you and your guests want to hear. I carry an enormous collection of songs, from the classics to today's hits.
Can I see your song list?
You can download a complete catalog from the Music Page.
Will you play my requests?
Yes. I guarantee to play from your list of music requests, and I will honor your "no play" list as well.
Can you play my guests' requests?
Certainly. I can even leave music request cards on guests' tables.
Do you have all the latest music?
I stay up-to-date through a weekly PrimeCuts CD pool covering all the new hits.
Can you suggest some popular songs for my event?
Upon booking, you'll receive my free DJ Music List for music suggestions.
