When will you arrive at the event?
Depending on the venue location and the package booked, I will arrive 1 to 2 hours prior to start time.
What will you wear?
Generally, I wear a shirt and tie with a vest; however, you may specify your preference and I'll dress accordingly.
Do you bring a sign or banner?
I believe signage at a private event is tacky. Your guests are always welcome to ask for a business card.
What kind of equipment is provided?
I use only top-of-the-line, professional DJ audio Equipment, including backup equipment. I bring my own tables.
How long have you been in business?
Sound Sensation was established in 1986. I started DJing in 1994, and I joined and incorporated Sound Sensation in 1996.
How many events have you played?
Several hundred. I average about 50 to 75 events per year.
How do you generate business?
I no longer use print or directory advertising. I now rely on word-of-mouth referrals and some limited internet advertising only.
Are you a full time DJ?
No. Although I spend many hours a week operating the DJ business, I'm also a full time Academic Dean with an impressive Resume.

Are you insured?
Yes, I carry a $2,000,000 liability insurance policy. If your hall requires a copy, you may download it here.
Do you belong to any professional organizations?
Yes. I'm a member of the American DJ Association, the NJ DJ Association, and the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce.
How much must I pay to reserve the date?
I require a $250 non-refundable retainer to reserve the date. The balance is due one month prior to the event.
Do you provide a contract?
Yes. A contract will be completed after the retainer is paid.
What if I have to cancel or postpone the event?
If cancelled more than one month prior to the contracted date, only the nonrefundable retainer is lost. Otherwise, payment is due in full.
Can I see you perform at an event?
No, I believe it is unprofessional to invite strangers to private events. However, you may view my Video Demo.
